Live streaming surfing dogs at the Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon
Helen Woodward Animal Center Attempts World Records at Dog Surf Competition
For the first time in Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon history, enthusiasts can watch the competition “live” from anywhere in the world with a Helen Woodward Animal Center hosted “Google Plus Hangout.” A Center staff member will serve as commentator throughout the day’s festivities and viewers will get a bird’s eye of all of the surfing heats.
Worldwide web viewers can also catch a glimpse of another Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon “first” as competing canines set out to attain two world records – Biggest Dog Paw-ty/Party Wave (most dogs on one wave, on separate boards) and Longest Canine “Hang Twenty” Surf Ride.
We have heard the woes of our far-away and international fans… we want YOU to experience surfing dogs firsthand, too! The Surf Dog Surf-A-Thon takes place on Sunday, September 9!
Where To Watch on September 9, 8:30 a.m. PST / 11:30 a.m. EST
