AniMeals Shelves Need Re-Stocking

Help seniors and their pets stay healthy… and stay together!

Oh no! The shelves are getting empty!

Studies have shown that independently living seniors who have pets tend to have better physical health and mental well-being than those that don’t. Unfortunately, the cost and ability to acquire pet food can often prove to be insurmountable obstacles for homebound senior and disabled individuals.  Our AniMeals program strives to remove these obstacles and keep our clients together with their pets for their physical health as well as their emotional well-being.

However, our shelves are getting empty and our senior’s forever friends are in need or canned food to stay healthy and happy. Here’s how YOU can help:

  • Drop canned pet food donations at Helen Woodward Animal Center. You can always visit with the cute, adoptable pets after!
  • Drop canned pet food donations at Vons Encinitas.
  • **Easiest option!** Order pet food donations online at sites like Amazon.com and ship directly to AniMeals! Ship to: Helen Woodward Animal Center, c/o AniMeals, 6461 El Apajo Rd., Rancho Santa Fe, Ca. 92067

Our biggest need right now is small cans of cat food.

If you have questions, please call Wendy at (858)56-4117, ext. 341.
